Cosy bracelets

A while ago I won this amazing set of bracelets form HandMaid Liset. Because of many things (my dearest cat dying, graduation project, me being ill) I haven't post this set of gorgeous knitted wonders.

Liset I love them. They make me feel all warm and cosy. Thank you soooo very much! And I cherish the colors of this lovelies.

So I made my first batik piece last weekend.
Because I am so darn proud of how it came out I just have to post this gigantic lots of pics!

Now I just don't know what to do with it. I thought of putting it on bamboosticks, so it can be hang in front of the window. I love to hear your thoughts.

hip wrap show off

Last week I finished a new hip wrap. It turned out real cute. It's the most beautiful brown with green swirlies. Which actually are still round! I love very much how it came out. But I'm still doubting about the closure of it. I found some large pin, but it's really to big to go through the wool without leaving holes. So I still have to figure something out. Anyone a good idea?

Encouraged by all the lovely comments on craftster I started a new hip wrap belt thingie. It is still in progress. It's an even brown one this time with green swirlies on both side and on the back.

I think I'm gonna love this one. It's gonna turn out quit nice I think. Although it's hard to keep the swirlies nice and roundish.

Owly bag

I'm so proud of this bag. I think he came out very cute. At first it wasn't my intention to make an owl. I just wanted to make a bag. But he just begged long enough so I gave him eyes. Amazing what eyes can do to just any object.

He is felted out of one piece, so there are no seams. On the front he has a little cell phone / iPod pocket felted in.

I had a very miserable, very tired day just hanging around not doing anything. When I woke up after collapsing in an afternoon nap I kicked myself doing something.

The Wrap around your hip bag

A while ago I felted this wrap around your hip bag.
It always drives me crazy having no pockets to put things in when I'm wearing a skirt.
At work I have to carry a phone and keys with me all the time. But I can't drag a bag with me all day. So I came up with this solution.

Cause what's a girl supposed to do without her corkscrew and cell phone?

It's wet felted out of one piece. And like the title suggests is long enough to wrap around the hip.

Another project for a craftster swap I made.

Tarp bag

So I made this recycled to the bone bag for a craftster swap. I ironed the fabric with the plastic a tiny bit to long and the whole thing started fusing together like mad. It gave this funky wrinkly result!

I cut the stencils out of heavy paper and used acrylic with a textile medium and lots of glitters!
